Advertising Final Project Specifications
Your final project is to take the work that you have completed on the midterm project and expand it to encompass a complete business plan. The focus of the business plan will be your Advertising and Promotion campaign in the context of the overall plan.
You will use an Excel based template to design a simple corporate budget that reflects a basic view of your company and its business structure as a whole, as well as include a more detailed budget specifically for Advertising and Promotion.
Your mid-term project will form the heart of the final project and will present your campaign in detail with a budget spreadsheet, written description of the plan, research, sample ads, etc.
The final project will take the form of a PowerPoint presentation which will be presented to the class on Week 10, and handed in, both on CD and in printed form.
The content will include the following:
- Overview of Company
- Overview of Specific Product being promoted
- Overview of Promotional Campaign and what it is intened to accomplish
- Detailed Advertising and Promotion budget
- Detailed Advertising and Campaign samples
- Print Ads; 4 thumbnails, 2 roughs, 1 comp
- Company Logo; 4 thumbnails, 2 roughs, 1 comp
- Radio Ad; 2 concepts, 1 script (page 249)
- TV Ad; 2 concepts, 1 storyboard with script (page 252)
- Outdoor Ad; 2 concepts, 1 billboard or bus ad
- Promotion; 4 concepts, 1 actual item
- Internet website; 2 concepts, 1 mockup using Photoshop
